The Kvaser D-PDU library is distributed as an Windows installer .msi file or as a .deb file for Linux.

Windows (MSI Installer)

Run the .msi installer and the library will be installed at:

C:\Program Files\Kvaser\D-PDU-API-1.0.0\

This location will be added to the root files (separate per architechture) described above. In case the root files do not exist, they are created with the default values.

Linux (Debian Package)

Install the .deb package:

sudo apt install ./kvdpdulib-1.0.0-amd64.deb</i>

Library: /usr/lib/libkvdpdulib.so (versioned symlinks created)
Headers: /usr/include
MDF/CDF: /usr/share/kvdpdulib/VERSION/
Setup helper: /usr/libexec/kvdpdulib_VERSION/setup_library

If the installation fails, information about the reason can be found in C:\ProgramData\D-PDU API\setup_library.log or tmp/setup_library.log (Linux).
